Beyoncé and Rihanna are reportedly feuding after the "XO" singer dropped a surprise "visual" album on iTunes on Friday, Dec. 13. According to MediaTakeOut.com, Rihanna is mad because she and Eminem currently hold the number one spot for "Monster" and the video was scheduled to be released on Dec. 16 but everyone is still talking about Beyoncé and her new album. Reportedly Ri feels Beyoncé stole all the spotlight.

A source told the website that Rihanna "is furious" with the singer and "feels that Beyoncé purposely released her album on Friday to upstage Rihanna."

"Rihanna and Beyoncé have always had a very cordial [relationship], but they are definitely competitors," the source said. "I think Beyoncé is jealous of Rihanna. First there were those Jay Z rumors, and lately people are acting like Rihanna [is] the top girl in the game... [I think] Beyoncé definitely pulled a power play and let Rihanna know who the Queen is."

The source said the "Stay" singer contacted her management team - who is also the same management for Beyoncé - and "cussed folk out."

Even though Rihanna is upset over the album's release date it's a possibly that Rihanna's team had no idea Beyoncé was even planning on releasing an album. It's been reported that only a handful of people knew about the project and a lot of people were kept in the dark.

"Beyoncé decided several months ago to release her album in this way but she didn't decide on this date until very recently, just a little bit ago," a source told US Weekly adding that she had been contemplating with a January release date. "Now just felt right, especially on Friday the 13."

The source said the project wasn't actually started until October and the people who did know agreed not to say a word out of fear that the album would be leaked and ruin the surprise. According to Billboard.com, Beyoncé and her team came up with code names to use in reference to the project.

"She kept going back and forth about what to do," the source said. "She discussed it over and over again with Jay Z and her team and decided to just drop it this way. Only Beyoncé could have done this."

Rihanna hasn't said anything about Beyoncé's album on her Twitter account.
