The recruitment of Marques Bolden seems to be never ending. Bolden said recently that his recruitment had been prolonged enough and that he was ready to announce his decision soon. There was some thought that he might announce his decision on his 18th birthday, which was this past Sunday, but Sunday came and went with no decision being announced.

Duke, Kentucky and TCU are the three teams waiting anxiously for Bolden's decision, but most people expect the choice to be between the Blue Devils and the Wildcats. TCU is Bolden's hometown school, but it just changed coaches, and that will likely make it hard for him to choose the Horned Frogs.

After not announcing on his birthday, it was found out that Bolden prefers to announce his decision at his high school in DeSoto, Texas, and that the decision will come soon, although no official date has been set. While it may seem like Bolden is just milking his recruitment to maintain the spotlight, that doesn't appear to be the case as most people believe he is truly torn on this decision.

Bolden has friends committed to both schools, which is part of the reason this decision has been so difficult for him. Many people still believe that Duke is the heavy favorite to land the five-star center, and that seems to be backed up by each school's thought process.

Kentucky is apparently unsure of exactly what Bolden is doing or thinking at this time, as the confidence it once had in getting a commitment from him has all but gone away. Duke, on the other hand, continues to grow more and more confident that Bolden will choose to play his college basketball in Durham, N.C., with the more time he takes. It should also be noted that Bolden's mom has been pushing for him to choose Duke all along.

The only really shocking thing that can happen with regards to Bolden's decision would be if he chose TCU. I don't think anyone would be all that surprised if the 6-foot-10 center chose Kentucky, even though the expectation is that he will be headed to Duke. Both Duke and Kentucky will be extremely good teams next year regardless of whether they get Bolden, but adding a five-star center who is one of the top recruits in the nation never hurts. Bolden's decision will also decide who has the number one recruiting class for 2016. Kentucky is there now, but if Bolden chooses Duke it will usurp the top spot.
