It's been an exciting past few months for Android smartphone fans. After witnessing leak after leak about the HTC 10 ahead of HTC's April 12 press event, new pictures have emerged showing off the Taiwanese company's latest phone yet again.

These latest leaks come courtesy of a promotional video, showing the phone in three different variants (gold, silver and dark grey) from multiple angles. As with all of the leaks, there is the possibility of it being fake, but based on previous leaks, the likelihood of that being the case is low.

In any case, the video, titled "HTC Power of 10," gives us a nice view of the phone's various features. Viewers can see the chamfered edges and a USB Type-C port on the bottom, along with a slightly protruding camera lens, an HTC logo and antenna lines on the back, which is reminiscent of the One M7, One M8 and One M9 that came before it.

The front is where we start a departure from the traditional One M-series design. Instead of the trademark dual speaker grills, the front of the phone has a physical button near the bottom, which presumably is used as a home shortcut and fingerprint scanner. At least one report of this leak likens the appearance of the HTC 10 to that of the One A9, a successor to the One M9, which received some flak for having a "derivative look."

The promotional video doesn't go into specs really, but based on previous rumors, the phone is expected to run a Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is also said to sport a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super-LCD 5 display, as well as having the ability to snap RAW images and 4K video with 24-bit stereo sound.

Tomorrow will be a major day for HTC, who will finally debut its phone to rival those of Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and LG's LG G5, which debuted at this year's Mobile World Congress in February. Despite the fanfare surrounding its competitors, HTC was unfazed, promising a "very, very compelling camera experience," as well as confirming a BoomSound audio feature - which the company appears to have followed up on considering the aforementioned lack of front-facing speakers.

So will the HTC 10 prove to be everything that fans have been waiting for, or will it be found wanting? We'll just have to wait until tomorrow's announcement at 8 a.m. ET and see.
