Tiger Woods' half-brother, Earl Woods Jr. was arrested on Dec. 13 for making a bomb threat in Phoenix, Ariz. According to the Associated Press, Woods, who works at the Department of Economic Security, called the front desk around 8:30 a.m. claiming he had a bomb and was going to blow the building up.

Security was notified of the threat and more than 100 employees from the building were evacuated. Reportedly when police arrived at the scene Woods voluntarily told them that he made the call but it was only a "joke" and he didn't think people would take it so seriously.

Police arrested the 58-year-old on "suspicion of attempting to terrify, intimidate, threaten or harass others." Cops claim Woods is cooperating and is extremely apologetic for making the call.

According to Golf Digest, Woods and his half-brother Tiger aren't that close. Tiger is reportedly close to Earl's daughter Cheyenne Woods, also a professional golfer, but hasn't spoken to Earl in a long time. During an interview with ESPN.com back in April 2012, Earl said that Tiger hadn't spoken to none of his half-siblings since their father, Earl Woods Sr. death in 2006.

Earl took Tiger's absence hard and blamed the golfer for not taking care of another brother Kevin, who is confined to a wheelchair because of multiple sclerosis.

"I'd like to [slap] tiger, wake him up," he said. "I'd like to say, 'Don't come knocking on the door when you need a bone-marrow transplant.' To see this is the response we get? Maybe when you see the world like he does, you don't see what other people are going through. But, seriously? You've got problems with your knee? That's nothing compared to what Kevin is going through. Nothing."
