Police are still searching for a 33-year-old woman from Michigan who went missing Dec. 5. The woman, Teleka Patrick, did not report to work the next day, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office said.

According to media reports, Patrick, a graduate from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, was last seen in the parking lot of Borgess Medical Center. Police believe she was dropped off at her car after spending the evening in Kalamazoo, MLive, a local Michigan news site, reported.

Undersheriff Pali Matyas told MLive they have not been able to retrieve footage from the parking security cameras because the hospital's system is not working.

"We're trying to retrace some of her steps but we're hoping people will call with some information," Matyas told MLive.

Matyas said no foul play is suspected at this time, but Indiana State Police said they later found Patrick's car abandoned in a ditch on I-94 near Portage, MLive reported. The car, a gold 1997 Lexus ES300, contained some of Patrick's personal effects inside, but Patrick's purse was not inside, MLive reported. Nothing suspicious was in the car.

"We've canvassed the area, searched restaurants, truck stops and hotels," Indiana First Sgt. Al Williamson told MLive. "They haven't seen anything."

Patrick's Facebook page says she is from Queens. She transferred to Kalamazoo in July to begin her first year as a psychiatry medical resident at the WMU School of Medicine, Laura Eller, spokeswoman for the school, told MLive. The offices for the school's psychiatry program are located at Borgess.

Patrick is described as a 160-pound, 5-foot-7 inch black woman with black hair, MLive reported. A Twitter hashtag, #findTeleka, is full of prayers and calls for help.

@EddiePatrick, who says he is the missing woman's brother, tweeted: "My sister disappeared from her medical residency on December 5th. Help us #FindTeleka."
