Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliot is considered the top running back prospect in the 2016 NFL Draft, and he has not been shy about potential landing spots. The Buckeyes star running back said earlier this offseason that the Dallas Cowboys would be an ideal landing spot for him, as he would love to play behind their talented offensive line.

It's unknown where Elliott will fall in the draft, but that hasn't stopped him from envisioning success with different NFL franchises. The Ohio State running back pointed to another team that he believes he could have success with in Cowboys rival the New York Giants.

"That would definitely be a great landing spot for me," said Elliott. "I can see it now: Eli (Manning), Odell (Beckham Jr.), and then me. That's a three-headed monster right there. I think we'd give everyone a run for their money. I think we could go win a Super Bowl pretty early."

Giants fans may like the idea of Elliott in their backfield to start the 2016 season, but the possibility of him actually landing in New York may be a stretch, as it's unknown if he will even be available by the time New York is on the clock. The Giants have multiple needs they have to fill this offseason, and after bolstering their defense in free agency, general manager Jerry Reese could look to add to the offensive line or wide receiver position with the 10th overall pick.

The Giants still need help on the defensive side of the ball particularly at the linebacker position, but New York has been known to take the best player available on the board in many instances regardless of position. While running back may not be their top need in the first round, adding Elliott could give the Giants another explosive offensive weapon in an offense that finished sixth in the league in scoring last season.

The 6-foot, 225-pound running back rushed for 1,821 yards and scored 23 touchdowns in his junior season at Ohio State and showed up for the Buckeyes in the biggest games. On the way to Ohio State's National Championship during the 2014 season, Elliott rushed for 476 yards and scored six touchdowns in the two playoff games. The coveted Buckeyes' running back has drawn comparisons with former NFL running back Edgerrin James and is expected to be an elite playmaker at the next level, as he's not only a workhorse running back but has the ability to catch passes out of the backfield and stay back in pass protection.

It's unknown what the Giants plans are in the upcoming draft, and if Elliott is still on the board it will be interesting to see what New York's front office will decide to do. The Giants have multiple holes they still need to fill on their roster prior to the 2016 season, but if Elliott is still on the board when New York is on the clock it could be hard for them to pass up one of the rare talents in this year's draft class.
