Kim Kardashian Baby Weight Loss, Diet: Reality Star Hopes to Reach a Size 0 by Eating HOW MANY Calories a Day?
Kim Kardashian is known for her curves but she is reportedly trying to slim down even more. It was reported that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star lost 56 pounds since giving birth to her daughter North West six months ago but she hopes to drop a lot more.
A source told Now Magazine (via the Daily Mail) that Kardashian is hoping to reach a size 0 - which is smaller than she was before giving birth - by eating only 1,000 calories a day.
"She's hit her goal weight but wants to drop to a size 0," the source said. "She also wakes up for daily 5 a.m. workouts and often does another hour in the afternoon."
The 33-year-old new mom recently told fans that she initially shed the baby weight by sticking to the Atkins diet, which completely cuts carbs and slowly re-introduces them later on. Kardashian proudly showed off her dieting results on Instagram posing in a one-piece bathing suit. She was recently spotted again, this time in a white two-piece swimsuit as she walked along the beach, US Weekly reports.
"Kim feels confident again. She worked really hard and is so motivated to stay fit," a source told US.
The reality star is so determined to continue slimming down that she's hired a personal trainer and a chef to come with her as she travels across the United States with Kanye West for his "Yeezus" tour, People magazine reports.
"With the exception of some cheat days, because she is realistic now, she sticks with it!" a source said.
The reality star shared how difficult pregnancy was for her with People magazine back in October saying that she used the negative comments and attacks on her weight to focus on dropping the pounds.
"Pregnancy for me was a lot tougher than people saw on my show or from magazines," she confessed. "So to get back to feeling like myself just makes me feel good again."
