The Dallas Cowboys are looking to get back to the top of the NFC East division after falling to last place with a 4-12 record last season, and while injuries were a major problem for the team, it wasn't the only issue.

The Cowboys struggled to create a pass rush during the 2015 season, as they finished tied 25th in the league with just 31 total team sacks. Dallas will be without last year's second round pick defensive end Randy Gregory for the first four games of the season due to suspension, and the team is not expected to retain defensive end Greg Hardy following the media circus that followed him around all season last year. The Cowboys have added former Raiders defensive end Benson Mayowa in free agency this offseason, but they still need help with their pass rush.

While Dallas is clearly in need of an upgrade with their pass rush, they reportedly won't be taking highly coveted defensive end prospect Joey Bosa with the fourth overall pick. "I don't believe the Dallas Cowboys will draft Joey Bosa," NFL Draft analyst Lance Zierlein said. "I've heard that they're not in love with Joey Bosa. I don't think Joey Bosa is going to be a Cowboy."

The 6-foot-5, 269-pound defensive end created havoc for opposing offenses in college football last year and has drawn comparisons with Washington Redskins outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan. In three seasons at Ohio State, Bosa recorded 148 total tackles, 51 tackles for a loss, 26 sacks and an interception while forcing five fumbles.

While the Cowboys reportedly won't look to add Bosa to their roster through the draft, it's likely that they haven't ruled out a pass rusher with their top pick, as they could look to target Oregon defensive end DeForest Buckner. The Ducks defensive end is considered by some to be the best interior defensive lineman in this year's draft class, and he could have an instant impact on Dallas' pass rush next season.

Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey could also make a strong fit in Dallas, but it's unknown if Ramsey will still be on the board with the fourth pick, as multiple teams are interested in the talented corner. It's unclear what Dallas' plans are with the fourth pick, as it will likely depend on who is available when they are on the clock, but at least it sounds like Bosa has been ruled out of the equation.
