First, Justin Bieber posted a throwback photo kissing his ex Selena Gomez, and then she was spotted in the audience at his show in Los Angeles. This has Jelena fans everywhere wondering what's really going on between the former lovers.

Their relationship has been a complicated one ever since they met in 2009 and dated on and off for about four years, and now that the 22-year-old singer is on his highly anticipated Purpose World Tour, it seems as though he's turning to his ex for support. Apparently, the tour has been very "overwhelming" for the young star, and has even caused him to have a panic attack and cancel all his meet-and-greets with fans.

"Justin is exhausted. He's on the go 24/7, overwhelmed with having to give perfect performances and is completely sleep deprived," a source said. "He's found comfort in Selena, but knows that's fleeting, once he leaves LA to go onto his next show. The lack of sleep causes anxiety and it's a viscous circle. Those close to him and in his circle keep reminding him to not take things so seriously and to take it easy. Justin feels like he always has to be on for everyone and it's just taking a toll. He's only human."

The tour may have just started, but Bieber has apparently been feeling sad for a little while now, despite this well-received "Purpose" album. "Justin has been feeling down in the last few months, since the latest success of his last album," another source added. "A phrase that he has been repeating lately has been, 'it's lonely at the top.' Justin's latest idea was not to cancel the tour, but to postpone the tour until he snaps out of his funk, maybe later this summer or in the fall he hopes."

If this really is the case, maybe Gomez being back in his life could help a lot, as he's been very open about missing her in the past. The former couple is reportedly "talking" about getting back together at the moment anyways, once their crazy schedules clear up.

"[Selena and Justin] looked genuinely comfortable together," an insider said following her appearance at his concert. "They both looked really happy."
