Apple is bringing in the festive season with its annual app, "12 Days Of Gifts," for users in the United States. The tech giant will offer free apps each day following Christmas and will run through the New Year's celebrations.

Apple is offering all its users a treat that will make their holidays more eventful. The most awaited time of the year has brought several offers with shoppers taking advantage of the sales during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Now Apple is giving a chance to its iPhone and iPad users to grab their favorite apps, games, movies, books and more for free. The app, "12 Days Of Gifts," which gives users freebies each day starting Christmas, has also arrived in the U.S. for the first time ever.

Apple was crowned the "World's Most Valuable Brand" by Forbes magazine last month with a brand value of $104.3 billion. A recent market survey by comSscore found that Apple defeated its competitors including Samsung, to take the lead in America's top OEM with 40.6 percent of U.S. smartphone subscribers.

Apple has followed the tradition of launching the "12 Days of Gifts" app every year during Christmas. The app was limited to Europe and Canada in the past years but this year Apple has a treat for U.S. customers too. The program runs from December 26 through January 6, 2014. During this period, Apple will bring a free downloadable song, app, book, movie and more each day. Users have very limited time to grab the offer, as each offer lasts only for 24 hours.

The "12 Days of Gifts" app is available as a free download on iTunes and users can check the app each day for exciting stuff free of cost.

Previously, Apple has offered games like Sonic Jump and Geomaster, apps like The Photo Cookbook and music singles from bands like Maroon 5 and Kesha. With the standards already set so high, Apple is sure to bring worthy apps and games this time around too.
