Season six of HBO's "Game of Thrones" will kick off next month and by now, you'd think audiences would be used to the cringe-inducing twincest between Cersei and Jaime Lannister. Well, we're not and we're never going to be. It's super weird.

But that doesn't mean that "Thrones" is going to lighten up on the Lannister family action, unfortunately. According to star Lena Headey, it's going to get even worse this year.

"Her relationship with Jaime is at an all-time weird level," Headey said recently.

How can it get any weirder? The two have already secretly birthed three children together, one of which was Joffrey, arguably the worst person in the history of television. All together, they've lost two of their children and the third isn't exactly secure in his throne.

Following Cersei's Walk of Shame in season five, one would think she would be trying to avoid any further complications in her life. But based on Headey's comments and the trailers for season six, that does not appear to be the case. Instead, it seems like Cersei and Jaime will continue to bond over their shared grief. Yuck.

Headey has talked up this season as incredibly "juicy" and "f---ing dark." But she's also clued us in a bit to what we can expect from Cersei this year.

"It's probably her most interesting season," Headey explained. "She really has nothing to lose and she has everything to gain from a horrible position she finds herself in."

If you'll remember, Cersei is still facing trial with the High Sparrow and the Faith Militant, who have grown even more powerful since imprisoning Cersei and Margaery Tyrell. On top of that, she'll have to deal with the death of yet another child. That definitely qualifies for a "horrible position."

But how will that manifest itself in her relationship with Jaime? We simply don't know. Season six will officially surpass the narrative timeline of George R.R. Martin's novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire," leaving book readers and show watchers completely unaware of what's to come.

It's exciting but, please, no more twincest.

"Game of Thrones" will return to HBO for its sixth season on April 24.
