Things are heating up between the cast members of the newest addition to the "Real Housewives" franchise, "The Real Housewives of Potomac." During cast mate Gizelle Bryant's private dinner event, Ashley Darby confronts Karen Huger about the way Huger reacted when Darby's husband crashed the girls' getaway to Darby's vacation home in Bethany Beach.

In a sneak peek for this week's episode, the ladies all arrive at The Park at Fourteenth, a posh Washington, D.C. restaurant. Bryant greets Huger and Darby as they arrive early and asks if they'd like to have a small plate of food while they wait for the other guests. Both ladies decline, opting for cocktails instead and sit down together at a nearby table.

"I decide to be the bigger woman and talk to Karen because I think it's just so stupid she's walking on eggshells. Let's just talk it out like women," Darby says in her on-camera interview.

The ladies sit through a few moments of awkward silence, and then Darby speaks in an attempt to clear the air.

"I really enjoyed our time together in Bethany," Darby starts off, breaking the ice.

"Everything but the last six hours," Huger says bluntly. "We were having a fabulous weekend, I thought you were a fabulous host. Then Michael shows up, but it was a girls' weekend and Ray had his concerns too that Michael just surprised us like that. So, let our men talk. Perhaps they could shed another light on it."

"It's so old-fashioned for Karen to suggest that the men work things out," Darby tells the cameras. "What are they gonna do, have a duel?"

"You're uncomfortability should've ended as soon as you went into your room, locked your door and had your own private space," Darby says.

"That is your opinion, which is narrow-minded," Huger responded. "Okay? If you can't consider your guests and their comfort level-"

Darby cuts her off, explaining that she did consider Huger's comfort level during the time they spent in Bethany and said that Michael's arrival was a surprise.

"I am absolutely appreciative. However, it was very presumptuous of Michael to think that we all would be comfortable with that," Huger says. "And it was disrespectful."

Darby then accuses Huger of having a tantrum, and Huger accuses Darby of being immature. The ladies go back and forth, with their voices getting louder until Bryant steps in as the hostess.

"Okay, I think I need to separate y'all," she says.
