Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker was injured in a dirt bike accident Thursday that has left the soon-to-be second-year NFL player in critical condition and fighting for his life. Early Thursday evening, Walker, a Miami native, was said to be driving a dirt bike on Northwest 75th street when he collided with a vehicle at an intersection.

Walker's agent, Donald Butler, updated his client's condition early Friday.

"It's a bad situation," Butler said. "I'm going to be honest. We're praying that he's able to fight through it."

Butler, 23, was a fourth-round pick by the Ravens in last year's 2015 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Texas Southern.

"He has some head injuries," Butler said. "He's fighting for his life right now. That's really the most I can say."

Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh addressed Walker's shocking incident in an extremely honest statement released by the team.

"Oh my God, this is devastating news," Harbaugh said. "Our prayers and hopes are with Tray and his family tonight."

The bike that Walker was riding allegedly was not street legal as it did not have headlights. Walker's sister, Shalonda Martin, told reporters that the car that struck Walker ran the stop sign at the intersection.

"Right now, he's in critical condition and he's in surgery," Martin said late Thursday. "That's all the information we have right now at the moment. ... I just ask that everybody pray for the Martin and Walker family at this moment. Right now we need prayer. That's all we need. We don't need any bad vibes around us."

Though police continue to investigate, reports suggest that drugs and/or alcohol were not involved.

Walker though, was not wearing a helmet.

Walkers' family and friends, as well as his teammates, are offering prayers and well-wishes as he struggles to pull through.

Walker appeared in eight games for the Ravnes last season, playing mostly on special teams and collecting one tackle.
