Stacey Dash has criticized Leonardo DiCaprio for the "negative message" he gave about global warming during his long waited acceptance speech at this year's Oscars.

"Climate change is real, it is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating," DiCaprio, who won for his performance in the 2015 winter epic "The Revenant," said upon receiving his award.

These were definitely seen as admirable proclamations from the veteran actor, who is known for his stand-out performances in the class "Titanic" and multiple Martin Scorsese films, including "The Departed" and "The Wolf of Wall Street."

Dash took to her blog to commend the actor for his achievement in acting history, writing, "Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscar was truly a well-deserved win. DiCaprio's speech, you could tell, was planned ahead of time. He knew he had it. Though I've not seen his film yet, I hear it's great." However, the "Clueless" actress also seemingly mocked DiCaprio's passionate environmental message. "But he reminds me of Chicken Little, the bird who ran around the neighborhood and disturbed everyone 'with her foolish alarm,'" Dash wrote.

The 49-year-old actress then ranted about how DiCaprio's comments were "too much" and even suggested arguments against DiCaprio's global warming stance. It is well known that "The Revenant" actor is passionate about sustainability and eco-friendliness, as he constantly contributes to charitable causes involving green initiatives. Dash clearly does not share his opinion.

Dash also had a big night at this year's Oscars. Towards the middle of the show, she was introduced as Director of the Minority Outreach for the Academy, and she proceeded to have one of the most awkward appearances in recent Oscars' memory. Dash started her awkward and overly animated speech by saying she "cannot wait to help her people out" (minorities) and capped the cringeworthy appearance by smiling and stating, "Happy Black History Month," despite recently claiming she thinks the month honoring black achievements should stop being observed.
