Marvel's TV and film worlds are both a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, yet they never really seem to cross over. Other than a passing reference or a familiar story, the characters of "Agents of SHIELD" and Netflix's "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones" have not made their way onto the big screen with the Avengers and vice versa (Nick Fury and Coulson aside). While MCU fans would love to see their favorite comic book characters intermingle, the shot callers at Marvel have been pretty bullish about the potential of a cross over.

However, Nate Moore, an executive producer on "Captain America: Civil War," isn't nearly as pessimistic about the possibility as others under the Marvel banner. He believes bringing the TV characters to the movies is more than possible, but the timing would have to be right.

"I think it's possible, for sure," Moore said. "It's interesting that the TV timeline and the film timeline moves so differently they tell stories so quickly, because they have 10 to 22 episodes. So sometimes it's just hard for those things to line up perfectly. But we love that idea of, ultimately, say a Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Punisher, Agents of SHIELF...maybe there's a way to get 'em back in there as long as it makes sense for our storytelling and doesn't prohibit them from telling a story. We say 'Oh, this happened to Daredevil somewhere in the future' and they go 'Well, that's not what the TV show wants us to do.' We don't want that to start to feel like there's friction, so we haven't figured out how to do it, but we'd love to do it."

Of all the Marvel executives who have commented on this story, Moore is without a doubt the most positive. Fans have long wanted to see the likes of Daredevil and Jessica Jones mix it up with their silver screen counterparts. I mean, when an alien race is invade the planet, you can use all the help you can get, am I right? Unfortunately, Moore may be a lone idealist as both sides of Marvel Studios seem intent on keeping the two platforms separate.
