Kensington Palace announced Kate Middleton's latest royal appearance scheduled for this month, and this time, it involves helping to cheer up some very sick children.

On Dec. 6, the Duchess of Cambridge will visit the Shooting Star House Children's Hospice in Hampton, Middlesex, England, where she will tour the facilities, "view a music therapy session, meet a group of volunteers and have tea with some of the kids and their families," according to E! News. Her husband, Prince William, will not accompany her on her visit, likely expected to be home caring for their son, Prince George.

Back in April, Middleton visited Naomi House Children's Hospice in Hampshire, as the 31-year-old Duchess is a big supporter of children's hospitals and charities. Shooting Star is one of the U.K.'s leading children's hospice charities, having previously hosted celebrities like Nigella Lawson, Simon Cowell and Joan Collins.

It's been a busy few weeks for the Duchess, who, in between touring the offices of Only Connect, a crime prevention charity, meeting with Place2Be staff and attending the annual SportsAid charity dinner in London, has found time to dye her chestnut brown locks a dark chocolate shade, a salon procedure that reportedly took hairstylist Rossano Ferretti six hours and cost the Duchess a whopping $800.

Middleton premiered the new look, which helps to conceal her graying roots, during the SportsAid SportsBall charity dinner on Nov. 28, wearing a chic black lace dress and black pumps, offset by a bright red handbag.
