Yanic Truesdale teased the "Gilmore Girls" faithful on Saturday, posting a photo with his former co-star Melissa McCarthy. He was quick to add in his Instagram caption not to read into their mini reunion as a possible sign McCarthy has finally signed on for the "Gilmore Girls" revival series on Netflix.

The "Mike & Molly" star is one of the very few cast members not returning for the reboot (as of yet) that is a month into production on the four 90-minute episodes set to premiere later this year. She and Truesdale simply found time to catch up and enjoy a night out.

"Scotch, great meal and catching up with my old friend @melissamccarthy, can't ask for more!" he wrote. "Don't read anything into it guys."

The "Gilmore Girls" revival has brought Truesdale back to Los Angeles from his home in Canada, where he has primarily worked since The WB/CW series last aired in 2007. McCarthy, of course, has spent the last 9 years becoming a movie star and starring on her CBS sitcom.

Truesdale and McCarthy played Dragonfly Inn co-workers Michel Gerard, the snobby concierge, and Sookie St. James, the flighty chef. The Canadian actor has snapped multiple pics on set, including him and Lauren Graham on the first day of shooting.

The revival of the mother-daughter drama will revisit the Gilmore women - Lorelai (Graham), Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Emily (Kelly Bishop) - in present day. Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino returns to write and direct all four episodes with her husband and writing partner, Daniel Palladino.

The first episode, titled Winter, will take place a few months after the family patriarch Richard passed away (the actor Edward Herrmann died in December 2014). The remaining three episodes will be titled Spring, Summer and Fall, all taking place during their respective seasons.

Scott Patterson, who played Graham's love interest Luke Danes, will return as well as all three actors who played Rory's past boyfriends - Jared Padalecki (Dean), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) and Matt Czuchry (Logan). Other stars reprising their roles include Keiko Agena (Lane), Sean Gunn (Kirk) and Liza Weil (Paris).
