Kelly Clarkson is finally speaking out about her own negative experiences with music producer Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald. In an interview with an Australian radio station, the singer spoke out against the man who is currently involved in a legal battle with the singer Kesha, who alleged that Gottwald sexually, emotionally and verbally abused her for years.

"The last time I worked with him I got blackmailed by my label," Clarkson explained on the "Kyle & Jackie O Show." "They were like, 'We will not put your album out if you don't do this.' It was really hard for me. I try to make the best of the situation."

Clarkson and Gottwald have worked with each other multiple times on some of her biggest hits like "Since U Been Gone" and "My Life Would Suck Without You." While Clarkson admitted that she did not specifically know what went on between the producer and Kesha, she spoke about her own experiences working with him and said that she could "remark on his character."

"I've run into a couple really bad situations. Musically, it's been really hard for me because he will just lie to people. It's like 'What?' It makes the artist look bad. He's difficult to work with, kind of demeaning, it's kind of unfortunate," Clarkson said.

"A lot of artists that have worked with him don't work with him anymore for pretty good, solid reasons," she continued. "He's not a good person to me. We've clashed. I can't really say anything other than that."

In October 2014, Kesha filed a lawsuit against Gottwald and claimed that he had been abusing her for almost 10 years before he quickly denied all claims and filed a defamation lawsuit of his own. In February 2015, the singer filed an injunction request that she be released from her record deal at Gottwald's label, Kemosabe Records, which lies under the Sony Music umbrella. The singer was denied her injunction against the producer by a New York City judge who said,"There has been no showing of irreparable harm. She's being given opportunity to record."

After Kesha's heartbreaking loss in court, Clarkson took to her Twitter account to speak out against Gottwald.

"Trying 2 not say anything since I can't say anything nice about a person... so this is me not talking about Dr. Luke," Clarkson tweeted.

Clarkson was not the only celebrity who publicly supported Kesha. Adele, Lena Dunham, Lady Gaga, Anne Hathaway and Reese Witherspoon all supported the singer, and Taylor Swift even donated $250,000 to her cause.
