As Easter approaches, the ever-so-popular Cadbury Creme Egg is quickly taking over candy aisles as chocolate lovers begin to stock up on the egg-shaped treat before they sadly go away for an entire year. Now the white-and-yellow fondant-filled chocolates have become the latest seasonal craze as new Creme Egg mash-ups are popping up everywhere.

First came Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurrys, then dessert pizza, and now the tasty candy has been turned into a nut butter! Who knew there were this many possibilities for the beloved eggs? With different forms of nut butters - like almond butter and cookie butter - being so popular in the food world right now, it was only a matter of time before the next one came about, but it's unlikely that anybody expected it to be this unique.

The Liverpool-based brand Funky Nut Co. created the limited-edition cashew nut butter that contains chunks of Creme Eggs. Funky Nut's "nutologists" even claim that it's better than Nutella. "The idea is just one of many we have planned for nut butter fans," Funky Nut founder Julian Campbell said. "I love Creme Eggs and nut butter, so I thought why not mix them in a funky way?"

The vegetarian-friendly nut butter is priced at $11.39 and can be purchased online. Luckily, for those who live outside the United Kingdom, there is international shipping available. Funky Nut Co. has some other interesting and unusual options available like Chinese Spice Peanut Butter, Pistachio Butter and Almond Butter with Vanilla & White Chocolate and even butters made with tiger nuts.

This exciting news comes just days after Crazy Pedro's, a pizza shop in Manchester, added a gooey Cadbury Creme Egg pizza to its menu. "Did someone say classic Italian pizza, thought not!" the shop wrote on Instagram. "This months special 'I am the resurEGGtion' a 10" pizza covered with chocolate sauce, sprinkled with marshmallows, brownie, meringue and topped with a soft creme egg."

And just days before the pizza debuted, McDonald's announced that it would be serving Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurrys this Easter season. This twist on their sweet classic features vanilla ice cream blended with milk chocolate chunks and a creamy topping that's very similar to the traditional Creme Egg filling. This McFlurry is currently only available in Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand though. It's unclear if it will be making its way to the U.S. anytime soon.
