Oliver Jack Carter Lomas-Davis, otherwise know as the "Bernie Baby," died last week at 4-months-old from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Lomas-Davis warmed the hearts of Bernie Sanders supporters when he was at a Las Vegas rally for the Democratic presidential candidate, along with a white wig on his head, a tie and of course black glasses.

The baby became famous on social media after his mother, Susan Lomas, posted the pictures from the rally on Facebook and Twitter. In one of the pictures, Sanders is seen holding the hand of Lomas-Davis as he and his mini-me smiled at each other.

"Oliver was happy, joyful and full of love, and he shared that with everyone he came into contact with," his aunt Anastasia Lomas told the Associated Press on Thursday. "He was extremely healthy and was tragically taken too early by SIDS."

The aunt added that the baby's mother was too hysterical to speak but said she encouraged everyone who was touched by the 4-month-old's life to celebrate it. "I love you dearly, I love you most. I love you with all my heart and soul. I know that God will keep you near since God and truth are here," she said in a post on her Facebook page.

A spokesperson for Sanders said the candidate was made aware of "Bernie Baby's" passing and that his campaign planned to issue a statement. "It's very sad," Michale Briggs of the Sanders campaign said.

"Please come share w/us the short, beautiful life of Oliver who will be greatly missed but not forgotten," his mother posted on Twitter.

The wake for Lomas-Davis will be on Monday, March 7, while the funeral is set to be on Tuesday, March 8 in Los Angeles. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up by the baby's aunt in order to cover wake, funeral and burial expenses. It will also go toward getting counseling for the family Lomas-Davis left behind.

"This amazing little boy will be laid to rest at Forestlawn in the Hollywood Hills," the crowd funding page states. "Born 10/17/2015. Happiest baby ever! Tragically taken by SIDS."
