Roberto Hernandez, the winner of Season 17 of NBC's "The Biggest Loser" will return to his job as a physical education teacher following his televised triumph. Hernandez will be walking down the halls of Morton High School in California about 160 pounds lighter than before he left, and he is hoping his story will inspire Latinos to get off the couch and be active.

"I am Mexican-American, and the Hispanic population is very important to me," Hernandez told Fox News Latino. Hernandez admits that a lot of dishes in Latino food are not so healthy, so he suggests: "Grill the carne asada, or instead of carne asada have grilled chicken."

Hernandez also stated that having a salad before the main course helps him fill up and not overindulge on meats. Ultimately he wants his drastic life change to inspire other Latinos, maybe one who are heavy like he was to work out more and stay active. Rodriguez has started a Twitter hashtag called #getoffthecouchAmerica to motivate his followers, Cine Movie reports.

Even though Hernandez won the $250,000 cash prize, he feels what was most important to him was the weight loss and the message of belief he shared with America on NBC.

"I've constantly said I never, ever did this for the money. That wasn't the intention, because that's just greed," he told Us Magazine. "I was here to get healthy. I was here to live long and have a great life with my wife and kids - and that's what I intend to do."

Hernandez wrapped up by telling Us Magazine a message of inspiration: "I want people to start getting healthy. If by me starting a journey like this has inspired somebody, then great!"
