Netflix chose pop star Carly Rae Jepsen to revamp the original "Full House" theme song for its upcoming reboot "Fuller House," and her updated version was released in full today, Spin reported. The "Call Me Maybe" singer added her own pop flair to "Everywhere You Look," the theme to a show she remembers watching as a child.

"'Full House' is essentially my childhood," the 30-year-old singer told Rolling Stone. "It was my favorite TV show growing up. I can remember being on a camping trip with my parents and asking them what time it was, how much further 'til we get there kind of thing, and they said, 'Three more 'Full Houses!'' I understand what that means: two and a half hours." (Editor's Note: Actually, it would have only been one and a half hours, as each episode of "Full House" was 30 minutes long!)

Jepsen teamed up with famed music producer Butch Walker and the song's original songwriter and performer Jesse Frederick to update the 1987 song. Jepsen added electric guitars to her version to give it a more modern approach, but kept the opening lines "Whatever happened to predictability? / The milkman, the paperboy, evening TV."

The revamped version of the song is the perfect match for the revamp of the beloved '90s sitcom, which is set to premiere Friday, Variety reported. The series will feature original actors Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber as they reprise their respective roles of D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler. Actors John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin will also guest star as their original characters.

In a gender-swapped version of the original premise, Cameron Bure's character is a widowed veterinarian who enlists the help of her sister Stephanie and childhood best friend Kimmy to help raise her 12-year-old son Jackson, 7-year-old son Max and infant son Tommy Jr., and Jepsen expressed excitement over the reboot of her favorite series.

"I'm looking forward to watching the storylines," Jepsen told Rolling Stone. "I told my girlfriends we're going to have to have a popcorn night and really enjoy it from start to finish."
