Last night, VH1 aired the first episode of its hit reality TV series "Mob Wives" since the death of the show's star Angela "Big Ang" Raiola. However, Raiola's co-star Drita D'Avanzo refused to watch the episode because she's still mourning the loss of her longtime friend.

"Im sorry I didn't live tweet...I wasn't up to watching the show tonight. Too soon..I did however RT tweets I liked! Thks 4 the support:)" D'Avanzo tweeted Wednesday night.

Raiola passed away Feb. 18 after losing her year-long battle with stage four throat, brain and lung cancer at 55 years old, as previously reported by HNGN. The Staten Island, N.Y., native - who was the niece of Genovese Crime Family mobster Salvatore "Sally Dogs" Lombardi - was known as the fun-loving, larger-than-life peacemaker of the "Mob Wives" cast.

Shortly after Raiola's passing, D'Avanzo posted a sweet throwback photo taken of herself with Raiola during happier times. In the shot, D'Avanzo was caught mid-laugh while Raiola smiled with her arms raised, caught mid-dance.

"I will see you again one day my friend...I will miss every minute of u until then. I love you. #RIPAngela," D'Avanzo wrote in the caption.

D'Avanzo's "Mob Wives" co-star Renee Graziano, who was also close friends with Raiola, tweeted during last night's episode, which portrayed Raiola on the day she underwent surgery in an attempt to remove a tumor from her lung, reported Us Weekly. Raiola told cameras that the only thing she could think about that morning was her children and her grandchildren.

"Angela was the glue that kept her family together on earth now she's a angel in heaven doing the same thing #mobwives #bigang #wemissuangela," Graziano tweeted as the scene aired.
