Kendrick Lamar has quickly become one of the best live performers in all of Hip Hop and maybe even all of music. He proved as much at the Grammy's and has done so consistently over the last few years. A lot of times when Kendrick is performing live he does untitled songs that he has never released before and for the most part they never see the light of day. Fans have been clamoring for them to be released and now Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has gotten in on the act, according to Ted Simmons of XXL Magazine.

On Tuesday night LeBron took to Twitter to ask both Kendrick himself and TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith for the release of the songs. TDE is the label Kendrick is signed to so Tiffith has control of all of the songs and his response suggested he has been asked a lot about releasing the songs. Tiffith stated that LeBron's request has "backed me in a corner" and that he needs a couple of days to think about if he should release them.

When Kendrick spoke with Andreas Hale of 2DopeBoyz about a week ago he revealed that he has "chambers" of unreleased music that he saves just for live performances. Lamar never planned to release the songs but the thirst is real among his fans and that may lead to their release. Tiffith says that right now he is keeping them for his own personal use but LeBron is a hard man to turn down so he may be able to make something happen.

The reason these songs haven't been released yet has to do with things such as sample clearances or just not making the cut for his projects. Still though, Kendrick loves a lot of those songs he has made and will continue to perform them live and cause a stir. You can see one of his performances of an unreleased song right here from when he performed on one of the last episodes of The Colbert Report.

Kendrick's most recent album "To Pimp A Butterfly" was critically acclaimed and just won the Grammy for Best Rap Album. His recent Grammy performance also helped boost his sales by more than 400% this past week, according to Hits Daily Double. The fans want as much Kendrick music as they can possibly get and even LeBron took time out of his busy schedule (trying to win another NBA Championship) to ask for more of his music to be released. Come on Kendrick, don't you want to make your fans happy?
