Do you guys remember at the beginning of the season when Charlie and Monroe were working together and actually made a pretty good team? Well, it turns out their relationship could eh, be more than a working one.

According to TVLine.com, showrunner Rockne S. O'Bannon said the possibility of a Miles and Charlie romance isn't out of the realm of possibility.

"I'd hate to say that it couldn't happen, but obviously there's a lot of things stacked against it," O'Bannon notes. "There's a creepiness factor to it that is on the one hand creepy, and on the other hand is maybe worth exploring. But the sparks between them, that low-level spark, is definitely something we're very cognizant of."

Speaking of romance, according to O'Bannon, Tom's recent rekindled romance with his wife may affect the pace of our heroes reuniting.

"So the next few episodes are really very fraught as he reunites with Julia and his agenda shifts, relative to the position that she's in now with someone very high up in the Patriot hierarchy," O'Brannon explained. "It's always bubbling under the surface, that notion of how and when are our characters will start to come together and clash. You can certainly expect that to be happening some time as we get into the latter half of the season."

Giancarlo Esposito, who plays Tom Neville, has also forshadowed the upcoming reunion.

"When the enemy grows large enough, these groups will come together - and that's soon," Giancarlo Esposito said in an interview with TV Line. "The realization of what has happened to our world that we once called America is going to be mind-blowing for many people, the notion that it may have all been calculated.

"So I have a feeling we're all going to have to come together against a common enemy."
