Rob Kardashian is finally seeing some results on his journey to a healthier life. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has lost close to 40 pounds thanks to a strict diet and regular workouts with his girlfriend Blac Chyna, according to TMZ.

Ever since Kardashian got together with Chyna, the reality star has been hitting the gym at least five times a week with a trainer, plus additional workouts with his girlfriend. The couple has also made a "no cheat day" promise to each other while Kardashian has cut out red meat, carbs and fast food from his diet.

Last year the youngest Kardashian sibling was diagnosed with diabetes after he gained a reported 100 pounds, according to the New York Daily News. After his weight gain, the sock designer hunkered down at his sister Khloé Kardashian's house, where he and also battled depression.

Kardashian and Chyna got together in January and it seems as though she is making a positive difference in the reality star's health.

"Rob seems really happy with Blac Chyna. He's really not thinking about what his family thinks, or how everyone else feels," a source close to the pair told People. "He's had a really hard couple of years and so if she makes him feel good, that's all that matters right now."

"Rob has been lonely for so long, so of course it's great for him to spend time with someone other than his sisters," the source continued. "Rob has also found an escape from his family nagging him about his heath. He has ignored their attempts to contact him."
