If you have President's Day off, why not talk to your family and get your home ready for this adorable adoptable cat, George Washington! Gorgeous George (or Gorgi Georgie, as we like to call him) is an adult male Siamese mix at Pocatello Animal Shelter (part of Pocatello Animal Services) in Pocatello, Idaho.

"George Washington is six months old," the shelter wrote on PetFinder. "He is a very affectionate and wants all of your attention. George Washington is looking for a forever owner that will give him all the attention..."

The adoption fee for cats at Pocatello Animal Shelter has been reduced thanks to a donation from Friends Of The Pocatello Animal Shelter, so until further notice, "You receive a total package worth more than $200 - all for just $45.00 plus tax," the shelter wrote. The fee includes vaccines for upper respiratory (feline chlamydiosis) plus distemper and rabies, leukemia and FIV testing, microchip and registration, spay or neuter procedure, a cardboard carrier, a collar and identification. What the shelter didn't include on the list is the priceless amount of love you'll share with your sweet boy, George.

If your lucky number is three, perhaps the third U.S. president's namesake, Thomas Jefferson, will be commander-in-chief of your heart.
