HBO has unveiled upwards of 20 new pictures from the upcoming sixth season of "Game of Thrones."

Though the pictures don't reveal anything too monumental (sorry, no shots of Jon Snow), they do offer fans a few clues as to what the sixth season has in store.

Those in the know had confirmed Myrcella Baratheon's death during the show's offseason, but now we have visual evidence. That is Jaime Lannister (her father/uncle) and Tommen Baratheon standing over her, likely in the Great Sept of King's Landing. Myrcella was poisoned by Ellaria Sand, Oberyn Martell's love.

When season five ended with Arya Stark losing her sight, fans had no idea if it was permanent or just a temporary punishment for disobeying the House of Black and White. Well, now it seems as if her blinding is a more long-term thing. I take it she's begging on the streets of Braavos here.

Here we see Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark. When last we saw her character she was leaping from the walls of Winterfell with Theon Greyjoy. Audiences had no idea whether or not she survived the dangerous fall. Now, we know. In addition, Turner has teased that season six is Sansa's best so far.

We didn't get to see Bran Stark at all last season with the showrunners opting for his Greenseer training to take place off-screen, ala Luke Skywalker in between "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi." Now, Max von Sydow takes over the role of the three-eyed raven this year, and Bran could have become very powerful since the last time we saw him. What's particularly interesting about this shot is that Bran, crippled in season one by Jaime Lannister, is standing. Perhaps this is a vision quest of some sort?

Sam and Gilly are on their way to Old Town where Sam will train to become a Maester. On their way they will be stopping at Sam's home of Horn Hill where his father, Lord Randyll Tarly, will likely be played by legendary actor Ian McShane.

Last but not least we have the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen. You'll have to excuse her scruffy appearance, as the last time we saw her she was dead center in a horde of dangerous Dothraki riders. Here's to hoping she makes it out alive.

"Game of Thrones" will return to HBO on April 24.
