Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had very hostile words for America Wednesday, strongly condemning the country's stance on several Kurdish organizations and going so far as stating that the U.S. is creating a "pool of blood" in the region, reported Israel National News.

In his tirade against the Western superpower, the Middle Eastern president strongly criticized the U.S.' refusal to consider the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) and its People's Protection Units (YPG) militia as terror groups.

"Hey America... As you have never recognized them (as terror groups) the region has turned into a pool of blood," Erdogan said, according to AFP.

Erdogan has been quite furious with Washington's decision to not recognize the PYD as a terrorist group. The U.S. stated previously that it would continue to support the group's operations in Syria.

Despite the U.S.' stance, Turkey argues that the Syrian Kurdish groups are simply a branch of the Kurdistan Workers Party, more commonly known as the PKK, which is formally recognized by the West as a terrorist group, The Times Of Israel reported.

Erdogan expressed his exasperation with America in his speech.

"Hey, America! How many times have we had to tell you? Are you together with us or are you with the PYD and YPG terror groups?" Erdogan strongly said.
