Palestine's Hamas made a "wheely" poor effort to disguise a prop they rolled out at a funeral last week after users on social media noticed that what was supposed to be a locally-produced tank, fashioned out of a captured Israel Defense Force tank, was actually a wooden prop disguised as the purported war vehicle for propaganda purposes.

The vehicle in question appeared Saturday at a memorial service for seven Hamas members who died when an illegal tunnel they were digging in Gaza collapsed on top of them, reported The Blaze. However, many soon noticed that in between the "tank's" immobile tracks, were two moving tires.

Ofir Gendelman, spokesman for Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, pointed out that Hamas' "tank" appeared to be made out of wood, placed on top of another vehicle whose wheels could be seen rolling at the bottom. He took to Twitter to poke fun at the EU-recognized terrorist group.

"Hamas paraded yesterday a 'captured, rebuilt Israeli tank,'" he tweeted. "FYI, tanks aren't made of wood and don't run on wheels."

His comments soon set off a flurry of gags from other Twitter users who couldn't help but crack a few gags at Hamas' expense.

Though most dismissed Hamas' claim that the tank was reconstructed after being captured from Israeli forces, at least one person didn't and used the opportunity to praise the terrorist group for its efforts, according to Fox News. (The tweet has since been removed).
