On the Monday night (Feb. 2) episode of MTV's hit reality TV series "Teen Mom OG," Farrah Abraham finally made amends with her mother with the help of her therapist, Maci Bookout's ex-fiancé Ryan Edwards stepped up to the plate during their son's birthday party, Tyler Baltierra expressed concern that his wife Catelynn Lowell might be experiencing postpartum depression and Amber Portwood's ex-fiancé Gary Shirley dropped a bomb about her new fiancé Matt Baier's past.

Farrah Abraham

Abraham has been preparing for a business trip to Europe all season, which led to multiple fights between her and her mother over childcare for Abraham's daughter Sophia - and resulted in Abraham making her mother Debra cry. Abraham decided Debra would not be fit to care for Sophia and asked her father Michael to care for her instead, but she took her anger out on Michael when she found out that he was planning to allow Debra to care for Sophia after Abraham left for her trip. Abraham's daughter said she wanted both of her grandparents to babysit her, which prompted Abraham to call on her therapist for a joint session with her parents. After the therapy session, Abraham realized that it's in her daughter's best interest to have both of her grandparents care for her, and she agreed to allow both of them to watch over her together.

Maci Bookout

Even though Bookout's ex-fiancé Edwards hasn't been the most reliable father to their son Bentley, Edwards did redeem himself during Bentley's seventh birthday party when he not only showed up but also surprised Bentley with a perfect birthday gift. Bookout even agreed to let Bentley stay with Edwards on a Sunday night and trusted him to get their son to school on time the next morning. During a chat with a friend, she said she noticed that Edwards becomes a more involved parent when he's single.

Catelynn Lowell

After marrying her middle school sweetheart Tyler Baltierra in a gorgeous ceremony last episode, Catelynn Lowell's new mother-in-law expressed concern to Baltierra when she realized that their newborn daughter Nova was spending a lot of time at Lowell's mother's home instead of with Lowell and suggested that her daughter-in-law might be suffering from postpartum depression. Baltierra asked Lowell to attend therapy with him in order to determine if she is suffering from postpartum depression. During the session, the therapist didn't diagnose Lowell with postpartum depression, and Lowell admitted that she just felt overwhelmed caring for her young daughter. Baltierra agreed to help our more with their child.

Amber Portwood

Portwood is involved in a heated custody battle with her ex-fiancé Gary Shirley over their daughter Leah. In an attempt to dig up dirt on Portwood, Shirley accessed her new fiancé Matt Baier's court records and discovered that Baier had outstanding court cases because of back due child support for seven children. Shirley revealed the paperwork to Portwood, and she defended her fiancé, claiming that only two of the seven children are his. But once she got home, Portwood broke down in tears and she started to question if Baier had been honest with her. "I can't go through prison and addiction and a custody battle and then this, I'm just breaking," Portwood said. "I just want my kid and I just want to be happy for her, I don't even care about everyone else."
