With Kanye West's long awaited album "WAVES" is finally coming out on Feb. 11 after months and months of hype, and it looks like he might be following up his big New York Fashion Week debut with an extra special live television performance.

The 38-year-old rapper will reportedly be the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" on Feb. 13, just two days after the official "WAVES" release date, reliable sources have told Fake Shore Drive. Since West will already be in NYC for his Madison Square Garden album release event/Yeezy Season 3 collection launch, it makes sense that he could be the performing act that night, even though nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

West has performed on "SNL" in the past and even first premiered his hit song "Black Skinhead" during a performance on the live comedy show back in 2013. Around the same time last year, he also performed "Wolves" on "SNL" with Sia, which is actually a song from the upcoming album, which, up until a few days ago, was going to be called "SWISH," according to the handwritten tracklist, along with previous posts on his Twitter.

In November 2013, "SNL" stars Jay Pharoah and Nasim Pedrad mocked West and his wife Kim Kardashian in a skit called "Waking Up With Kimye," and West wasn't too happy about it, as HNGN previously reported. He even apparently might have said that he may never appear on the show again.

"Kanye was not happy about being dissed, he doesn't think any of it is funny," a source close to the rapper said at the time, according to VH1. "He considers them to be one of the most influential couples that have ever existed. He might refuse to go back on SNL ever again."
