"Orange Is The New Black" star Taryn Manning has been accused of brutally attacking a makeup artist, but new information makes it seem as though this situation could have a lot more to do with the makeup artist than Manning. On Thursday, celebrity makeup artist Holly Hartman apparently filed to get a restraining order against Manning, 37, after several alleged brawls and attacks, according to TMZ. In the legal documents, which she filed in L.A., Hartman claims that the most recent attack took place in November in Manning's own NYC apartment.

The documents go into vivid detail describing the most recent attacks with Hartman claiming that Manning headbutted her in the face, whipped her with a wet towel, sprayed Windex in her eyes and mouth and put her in a headlock. She also claims that Manning threatened to kill her when she yelled, "Pick a knife. I'm wearing a white shirt there will be a lot of blood. You will be famous for killing Taryn Manning."

Since the documents were filed in a separate state from where the original attacks took place, the judge denied the restraining order.

Despite the detailed legal documents, Manning's lawyer later explained to TMZ that Hartman's request for a restraining order is "suspect" because the two have not been in contact for several months and that it's actually Hartman who is "under investigation" because she has been stalking the actress. They feel that Hartman is trying to "obscure her own wrong doing" by placing the blame on Manning, and Manning is now planning to take legal action against Hartman.

"The court has already denied the request by Ms. Hartman for a temporary restraining order. The application for the order is suspect because Ms. Manning has had no contact with Ms. Hartman in many months due to Ms. Hartman's actions against Ms. Manning which are currently under criminal investigation in multiple jurisdictions," Hartman's legal counsel told People. "These investigations have long predated these entirely fabricated allegations. Ms. Hartman is under investigation for stalking Ms. Manning and for theft and other crimes. It is clear that Ms. Hartman's camp has leaked these allegations which were not available publicly to elevate her own position and obscure her own wrong doing."

Back in October 2012, Manning was arrested for several violent claims against Hartman, so the two have been involved in similar attacks in the past, according to New York Daily News. At the time, Manning was said to have punched, choked and kicked her along with scratching at her and grabbing her hair. Hartman eventually decided against prosecuting and Manning was ordered to one day of community service after taking a plea bargain.

Manning is best known for her role as the Jesus-loving prisoner Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett, who has a history of going a little crazy, on the popular Netflix series "OITNB."
