During the great Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa Twitter War of 2016, model Amber Rose was used as a pawn by her hip-hop artist ex-boyfriend, West, when he used Rose's stripper past to insult her ex-husband, rapper Wiz Khalifa. Now, in a new op-ed titled "How I Learned To Stop Caring What People Think" for Time magazine, Rose spoke out against "slut-shaming" and revealed how she deals with her haters.

"Ever since high school, I've been called a slut," the 32-year-old wrote in her op-ed. "All the boys were attracted to me - that wasn't my fault! Then, when I started getting famous, the shaming got even worse."

She went into an anecdote about the backlash she received from fans after she was spotted out on a date at a restaurant after her divorce from Khalifa. She said the incident prompted fans to call her a "ho," but praised Khalifa for dating multiple women.

"It wasn't just men saying these types of things," Rose wrote. "There were a lot of women saying hateful things to me. I was getting torn down constantly. But in the past year, I've just started not caring."

She used her new mantra when West tweeted to Khalifa, "4th you let a stripper trap you," as previously reported by HNGN. West followed up his insult with,"5th I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years."

"Lol @kanyewest Now u wanna delete ur tweets cuz Muva has arrived?" Rose responded to the diss on Twitter, making fun of West for deleting his tweets directed at Khalifa.

In her written piece, she pleaded with readers to refrain from judging a woman because of her decisions, actions or her past. She also advised women to stop caring about what other people think and start living their lives.
