Having just released her first English-language album in six years, "Loved Me Back to Life," legendary singer Celine Dion recently revealed that amid the success of her new album, she hopes to add a baby girl to her family.

"There's nothing that can top being a mother," the 45-year-old star recently told the British magazine Weekend, ContactMusic reports.

Dion has three sons already with her husband Rene Angelil, including 12-year-old Rene-Charles and her three-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson, but admitted she is still keen on extending her family.

"I would like more but I don't know if it could happen. I want the twins and me to have quality time. It's selfish to keep wanting more, although I would love a girl. Imagine all the shopping, the jewelry, the shoes, the dresses I could give to her," she said.

As for her latest album, "Loved Me Back to Life," which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart and sold 77,000 copies in its first week, critics have praised the French-Canadian singer's efforts to appeal to a broader audience, the record a collaborative effort of some of the industry's top hit-makers, including Sia Furler and Stevie Wonder. Other critics, however, have critiqued the album for being "stiff and mechanical" (Boston Globe), and, ironically, void of anything that "screams big hit" (All Music Guide).

Nonetheless, Dion told USA Today that she is very content with how the album turned out.

"I don't have to do anything I don't want to do," said the French-Canadian singer. "I'm in the greatest place. I'm 45 and in the middle of my life. All the decisions I'm making are coming from a grounded place. For 30 years, I've had the same recipe, which puts a lot of reverb on my voice. But for this album, I wanted to break from that. It's very pure. Very direct."

Meanwhile, Dion's lead single and title track, "Loved Me Back to Life," has been a big hit with fans and critics alike, the audio having hit over 2 million views on Dion's Vevo YouTube channel.
