Demi Lovato is really feeling confident. The former Disney star and pop singer showed off her toned curves in a sexy lingerie selfie she posted un-retouched on Instagram, taken onset of the photo shoot for an Allure magazine cover story.
The 23-year-old "Confident" singer posed in a sexy two-piece black lingerie set of high-waisted black bottoms and a matching bralette, showing off her trim waist and curvy, toned legs. Her short black hair was styled straight, pinned back on the right side with added volume on the left, and her manicure and pedicure matched her red lips.
"Behind the scenes (and bathroom door) of my Allure cover shoot.. Posting a #nophotoshop pic because I'm proud to show my body the way it naturally is.. (And there was great lighting...) #Allure #CONFIDENT," Lovato wrote in the caption.
In the cover story about Lovato for the February issue of Allure, she opened up about her journey, from struggling with eating disorders and drug addiction in the past to learning how to be comfortable in her own skin.
"A year ago, on tour, almost every inch of my body was covered by clothing, and it was because I was hiding behind so many layers," Lovato told Allure. "Once I started feeling better about myself, I felt better about showing more skin. I have insecurities about my arms, so to wear a tank top on stage is extremely liberating for me, and uncomfortable sometimes. It's also a statement, like, 'Hey, watch out. You're no longer getting the insecure Demi that you've been getting for the past couple of years. I mean business now.'"
