The third and final Twenty20 International (T20I) of the three-match series between host New Zealand and Pakistan will be played Friday at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.

The Black Caps bounced back in the T20 series by winning their second match in Hamilton after losing the opening game in Auckland last week, according to Daily Pakistan. A new record partnership of 171 runs between Kiwi openers Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson guided New Zealand to a 10-wicket victory in the second T20I. The series is leveled 1-1.

Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi remained optimistic about clinching the series.

"We played there [Westpac Stadium] in the World Cup and the boundaries are short, we all know, but it's for both teams. We have to play aggressive cricket, with the ball and bat. In the last game New Zealand batted very well but we didn't bowl well, we didn't bowl according to the plan and they played better cricket than us," Afridi said, according to Stuff NZ.

New Zealand is hosting Pakistan for the three-match T20I and three-match One Day International (ODI) series.
