Around 1 million propaganda leaflets from North Korea have been sent to South Korea, according to authorities in Seoul. The tension between two nations began heating up again after North Korea announced that it had successfully executed its initial hydrogen bomb test, as previously reported by HNGN.

After North Korea announced its nuclear testing, the South retaliated by blasting propaganda announcements and even K-pop songs through speakers installed on its side of the demilitarized zone. The North then responded by dropping propaganda leaflets that were carried by the balloons from Pyongyang towards Seoul, according to the Associated Press.

One of the propaganda leaflets shows U.S. President Barack Obama kissing the President of South Korea, Park Geun Hye, on the left of the pamphlet, while the right side shows Park kissing Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, according to Bloomberg Business. Another one shows Park wearing a bikini and being thrown into a trash bin, describing her as "human filth."

Seoul Defense Ministry spokesperson Kim Min-Seok said that these leaflets have been entering South Korea almost daily, according to the Guardian. South Korea is continuously seeing new sanctions from the UN against the North.
