Two bright-orange silvered leaf langur monkey babies were born at Ohio's Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, one Dec. 1 and one Jan. 11. The fuzzy pair were born to the same troop, which is a first for the zoo. They were also the first langurs born on the premises since 2011, and the monkey born Jan. 11 was the zoo's first newborn of the year, reported Zooborns. They're both healthy and happy, and are already on display at the zoo. They spend most of their time with their mothers, who are experienced in child-rearing. One of the langurs is its mother's sixth baby and the other is its mother's fifth.

The babies are born bright orange, but their fur changes to a deep silver as they grow up, reported the Columbus Underground. The Columbus Zoo is one of only three zoos in the country to breed langurs, in accordance with the breeding recommendations of the Species Survival Plan of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Langurs are native to Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia, reported Zooborns. They are endangered in the wild because of plantation expansion, hunting and forest fires, but are carefully cared for in zoos worldwide.

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium YouTube channel released a lovely video of the two newborns' adventures as they discover their new surroundings and bond with their mothers. Watch below and enjoy!
