The Chicago Bears finished in last place in the NFC North with a 6-10 record this past season, and head coach John Fox will clearly look to improve his defense this offseason after finishing the year ranked 20th in terms of points allowed per game. The Bears defense has clearly missed linebacker Brian Urlacher since retiring after the 2012 season, and ESPN's Mel Kiper has projected the Bears to take Alabama's talented senior linebacker Reggie Ragland with the 11th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Ragland turned himself into a highly coveted prospect this season and was a leader in the Crimson Tide's National Championship run. Alabama's top linebacker recorded 102 total tackles and 6.5 tackles for a loss. Ragland would be a strong fit coming out of Nick Saban's 3-4 defense, and he could be an instant impact for the Bears defense next season. The Crimson Tide senior linebacker is listed at 6-foot-2, 252 pounds and has tremendous instincts on the field.

Chicago has plenty of needs to fill this offseason and has promoted quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains to become the Bears' new offensive coordinator after Adam Gase left to become the head coach in Miami. The Bears have historically been known for great linebackers like Dick Butkus, Mike Singletary and Urlacher, and Ragland could look to fill a hole that is clearly missing in Chicago.
