On the same night as the sixth GOP debate, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made her second appearance in six months on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." Fallon made sure Clinton knew that Donald Trump was on the show earlier this week and also brought up her fellow Democratic hopeful Bernie Sanders.

During Trump's appearance on "The Tonight Show" Monday, he told Fallon, "I'm winning against Hillary one on one-and I haven't even started on her yet."

The GOP candidate's words seemed to not worry Clinton, who told Fallon that she did not watch Trump's appearance on his show.

"He's a lot more obsessed with me than I am with him," she said as she laughed.

"Does he intimidate you?" Fallon asked Clinton.

"No," she said. After applause died down, Clinton added, "If I'm so fortunate to be the Democratic nominee, I'll run against whoever they nominate. But if it's Donald Trump, it'll be quite the showdown."

The last time Clinton was on "The Tonight Show" in September, there was also a GOP debate going on that same night on a different channel.

"Is that a coincidence, you think?" Fallon asked Clinton Thursday night. "You'll do anything to not watch the debate?"

"I think you've nailed it," she said. "Usually I'm not home when the debates are going on. I do try to catch up on them and I'd love to be able to fast forward."

Clinton and Fallon then changed the subject to her closest Democratic competitor, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who has been gaining on her in the polls. Fallon asked the former Secretary of State if she was at all worried about the "tight race."

"This is not a job they give away. You really do have to work hard for it and it is the hardest job in the world so I get up every day and go right at it," Clinton said.
