Houston Rockets star Dwight Howard is reportedly unhappy with the team's point guard situation. Along the same lines, James Harden appeared to first ignore and then berate point guard Jeremy Lin on Thursday during Houston's loss to the Lakers.

The Rockets (4-2) fell to the Lakers on Thursday, 99-98. Barely two weeks into the season, Howard, who is said to have a reputation for complaining, is already upset. His gripe? The team's point guards, Jeremy Lin and Patrick Beverley.

"Got this today - from a VERY credible source ... (Howard) is being patient, but I can tell you he isn't really happy with the Rockets PGs," TerezOwens.com published on Friday. "Wouldn't mind if Rockets look at other options."

The source is, of course, unidentified and other media outlets haven't reported any complaints from Howard. Still, if there's any veracity to the report, it doesn't bode well for Houston fans who hoped Howard would have matured since his days in Orlando and Los Angeles.

There does appear to be an issue at point guard, though.  Harden is seen during the game last night seemingly ignoring Lin's play calling. Harden is later seen exchanging words with Lin at the other end of the court, presumably about Lin's missed shot during the last possession.

"James Harden just lit into Jeremy Lin for his last shot," Yannis Koutroupis of HoopsWorld.com tweeted. "Beverly and (coach Kevin) McHale had to signal to him to calm down."

Lin admitted in the summer he's been unable to live up to the "Linsanity" hype that earned him a three-year, $25 million contract from Houston in 2012. He finished with 13.4 points and 6.1 assists per game last season; he has 15.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this season.
