Like father, like daughter. D.J. Tanner shares more similarities with her father Danny than just the unfortunate circumstance of being a widowed, single parent in the Netflix reboot, "Fuller House."

Candace Cameron Bure compared her parenting style to her TV father's (Bob Saget) in "Full House." After the loss of her husband, D.J. finds herself caring for three boys on her own and asks her best friend, Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), and younger sister, Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin), to move in to help raise her young family.

"She is a little bit like Danny Tanner as a dad," Cameron Bure told Entertainment Tonight. "She's very organized and orderly. She's a single mom, so she kind of has to be with three kids, and she's the mom of the group in every way, between Kimmy and Stephanie."

In the Netflix revival series, D.J. has three sons - 12-year-old Jackson, 7-year-old Max and newborn Tommy Jr. Stephanie is an aspiring musician and Kimmy is also a single mother, raising a teenage daughter.

"She's just a little more straight-laced than everyone else is, and the other girls kind of loosen her up along the way," Cameron Bure said about the character she played for eight seasons on the original ABC sitcom.

In addition to the returns of Barber and Sweetin, "Fuller House" will also feature appearances by other original "Full House" cast members including Saget, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier.

"Fuller House" premieres on Friday, Feb. 26 on Netflix.
