Google has rolled out a latest update to its Drive app for iOS users which includes support for multiple accounts, single sign in for all Google related apps and print support from Google Cloud and AirPrint.

Google is updating its mobile apps running on iOS platform to secure a place in its rival Apple's realm. After rolling out an update for its iOS search app, Google is updating its cloud storage app for iOS users. The Google Drive app for iPhone and iPads will support multiple accounts, this will serve those who want different professional and personal accounts.

The updated Google Drive makes it easier for users with multiple accounts to switch back and forth between a personal, a work or any other Google account. Besides the most awaited change to Drive, Google also introduced single sign in feature for iOS users. With the latest feature, users with more than one Google iOS app, such as YouTube, G+, Google Maps, and Chrome, will be able to enjoy seamless sign-in process. Once a user signs in to Google Drive, other Google apps get automatically signed in.

Google Drive also supports Apple's AirPrint and its own internet-based Cloud Print printing service to print files without any hassle. The latest app is updated to support Apple's latest iOS7 mobile operating system.

The competition in cloud storage business gets tougher with new companies offering services similar to leading brands. Besides Google's major shift in its iOS cloud storage service, other iOS mobile apps such as SugarSync received an update too. SugarSync is an online cloud storage service that works similar to iCloud, Google Drive, and Dropbox. In the latest update, SugarSync supports automatic back up of photos and videos from the iPhone/iPad Camera Roll, like Dropbox. Once backed up, all files will appear on desktop. In addition to this, SugarSync users can also play music files before even they are finished downloading, an advantage for users with slow data connections.

Google Drive app for iOS users is available for download on iTunes. Users can also download the free 6MB SugarSync app from iTunes.
