Kylie Jenner Lip Kit Dupes: The Best Matte Liquid Lipstick And Lip Liner Alternatives To The Sold-Out Product

Kylie Jenner's lips were the talk of 2015, so naturally, when she released her very own lip kit to the public, people went absolutely crazy over it. The very first batch of her exclusive lip kits were released on Nov. 30 and sold out in seconds. Fans and beauty addicts were then given a second chance in December to purchase the lip kit, and the same exact thing happened.

While some were quick enough to get their hands on the 18-year-old's first-ever makeup product, most weren't so lucky. Then again, nobody was really surprised that it sold out under a minute both times because Jenner is one of the hottest young reality stars at the moment, and people are just dying to copy her signature lip. Even though she did admit to getting lip fillers, her full pout is envied by many, and people couldn't wait to try a line of products created specifically by her to achieve the desired, full matte lip look she's known for.

The best part about her Lip Kit is that it's actually an incredible makeup product. Celebrity makeup artist Karen Gonzalez, who has over 2 million Instagram followers and is known for loving matte lipstick, tried the kit out, and was shockingly pleased with the results. "The color stayed on for five hours and was packed with moisture," Gonzalez told E! News of the matte lipstick. "I've tried so many liquid lipsticks and so many of them dry out too quickly, only to last for two hours or eat up your mouth, but this one is really good."

Lip Kit by Kylie comes in three shades, Candy K, Dolce K and True Brown K. The kits consist of a matte liquid lipstick and a matching lip liner and go for $29 each. While these colors are still sold out, Jenner has promised on Instagram that they will be restocking the three original colors soon. She even gave fans a sneak peek, in black and white of course, of some new colors she's been testing.
