"Dancing With The Stars" pro Mark Ballas and his longtime girlfriend BC Jean are engaged!

Ballas, 29, proposed to the 28-year-old singer/songwriter, whose real name is Brittany Jean Carlson, in November on the day before Thanksgiving. "Mark and his girlfriend are engaged," a source told Us Weekly. "She's wearing an engagement ring...They have been keeping their exciting news on the down-low as they wanted to celebrate and enjoy the holidays with close friends and family."

Ballas and Jean, who is the songwriter of Beyonce's hit song "If I Were A Boy," have been dating since they met in 2012, according to TV Guide. Together, they have formed the group Alexander Jean, and their song "Roses and Violets" was featured on the most recent season of "DWTS" for a routine which champions Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin performed. The song also went to No. 1 on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart and hit No. 6 on the pop chart.

Just last week, Ballas shared a touching message on Instagram to his fiancé to ring in the New Year. "2015 has been a beautiful year for many reasons but being by your side through everything no matter how hard or easy things get means more to me than anything," he wrote. "Taking my creativity to the next level with you has been simply incredible & something I have needed more than I can even explain. I can't wait to share what we have created with @_alexanderjean_ with the world in 2016. I love you more & more every day that passes by. You are my Rock and my Queen @bcjean Happy New Year."
