United last won the F.A. Cup in 2004, and another title in 2016 would bring manager Louis van Gaal a little job security, according to Bleacher Report. Van Gaal was feeling pressure as Manchester United went winless in eight matches before a winning 2-1 over Swansea on Jan 2.

United will have to build from their win against Swansea, but they will have to do so without defender Phil Jones, who joins Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia and Marcos Rojo on the sideline.

The projected Manchester United starting XI, according to Sports Mole: Romero; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson; Carrick, Schneiderlin; Pereira, Herrera, Martial; Rooney

Sheffield comes into the match having won three of its last four matches. Sheffield manager Nigel Adkins told The Guardian that his side is ready to shock the world in the visit to Old Trafford.

"We are going to the Theatre of Dreams, so why can't we dream? If you can't enjoy a challenge like Manchester United what can you look forward to? I must admit I gulped at first when the draw was made, but then I thought no, it's a great draw," he said.

Adkins knows that his side will be in tough. Sheffield has won the F.A. Cup twice, while Manchester United boasts 11 cup titles, according to Vavel.

""In our division we are the scalp, the big club everyone raises their game against. This is fifth in the Premier League versus eighth in League One. A massive gulf. On paper we have no chance but we all know the FA Cup does not always work like that," Adkins said.

The projected Sheffield staring lineup, according to Bleacher Report: Long; Brayford, Edgar, Collins, McEveley; Coutts, Basham, Hammond, Woolford; Sammon, Sharp
