The Los Angeles Lakers are currently on a season high three game winning streak which has brought their win total to eight this season. Nick Young hasn't exactly been a big part of the Lakers winning their last three games but he has an idea of why the Lakers have been playing better lately: Kanye West. Kanye released music for the first time in a few months on New Year's Eve and Young credits the song "Facts" for the Lakers winning streak, according to Paul Thompson of XXL.com.

Despite this modest three game winning streak the Lakers are still at the bottom of the Western Conference and don't seem to be going anywhere but leave it to "Swaggy P" to bring light to what has been an awful season. The Lakers next game is on Tuesday night against the defending champion Golden State Warriors who are 32-2 and when asked how the Lakers will get ready for that game Young simply replied "Yeezus."

The song Young is referring to, "Facts," was released by Kanye on New Year's Eve and it is virtually just a diss track aimed at Nike. The song sounds very similar to Drake & Future's "Jumpman," which was likely Kanye's inspiration, but in this instance Kanye holds nothing back against Nike after he recently left the sportswear company to join Adidas where he now has his two clothing collections and his Yeezy shoes.

Young probably particularly liked this song because he got a shoutout in it but he is also clearly a fan of Kanye considering he has been wearing Yeezy Boost 750's during games recently. The Lakers will need a lot of help if they plan to pull off the huge upset on Tuesday so Young trying to draw inspiration from Kanye may not be such a bad idea.

Kanye currently has everyone on edge waiting for his next studio album "Swish" to be released. There haven't been many updates about the album aside from Kanye telling everybody he wants to be left alone until the album is completely finished. It is understandable that we haven't gotten "Swish" yet though as Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian did just recently have their second kid, Saint West.

For now you can listen to "Facts," which will not be on the album, below and let us know what you think of it and Young's thought that it's helping the Lakers.
