Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has dismissed rumors that she will be working alongside Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor in the Sanjay Dutt biopic. There were media reports that director Rajkumar Hirani had approached Kangana to play the role of Sanjay Dutt's wife, Manyata, in the biopic. "I don't want to be disrespectful to Raju sir (Hirani), but the truth is I have not been been approached for this film. I am busy on 'Rangoon' at the moment," she said in a statement, according to Times of India.

The 28-year-old "Queen" actress will work next with some of the best directors of the industry including Hansal Mehta ("Simran"), Ketan Mehta-directed ("Lakshmi Bai") and Shekhar Kapur ("Amrita"), according to Pune Mirror.

The biopic, titled "Dutt," is based on the life of jailed Bollywood star Sajay Dutt. Hirani, who directed Dutt in the super hits "Munna Bhai MBBS" and "Munna Bhai Lage Raho," made it clear the movie was not an attempt to glorify the life of his close friend Dutt. "It's an emotional story which also has fun moments. It is also entertaining. It's about father, son, his friends and his world," Hirani said, according to Indian Express.

Hirani, however, has put the movie on the hold as he is concentrating on his production house's upcoming "Saala Khadoos" movie, according to India Today. Check out the trailer of the movie below.
