It's been almost two weeks since Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez was mistakenly crowned the winner at the 2015 Miss Universe pageant when host Steve Harvey historically announced the wrong name, but she's finally opened up about the embarrassing moment.

"It was very humiliating for me, but also for the whole country and for all the people not only from Colombia but the other Latinos that were in the auditorium," the 21-year old told W Radio, according to Latin Times.

When Harvey realized his mistake, he took full responsibility and revealed that Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach was actually the first place winner, and she was just as shocked by the mix-up. It was an emotional sight to see, as Gutierrez had tears falling down her face as her crown was awkwardly removed on live television.

Some viewers even believed that since Harvey is a comedian, the whole thing was a joke or just a stunt to boost ratings for the show. "If that was the goal, they succeeded," Gutierrez said.

While she'll always be remembered as the contestant who was wrongly crowned, Vivid Entertainment has even made a generous offer to have her be remembered in a much different way, as HNGN previously reported. The porn company offered her up to $1 million if she were to take part in some adult entertainment films for the company, promising her that it will only help enhance her career. Guitierez has not yet responded to the offer.
